University Student Training Course on Democracy and Elections

ASK and BCC organized the first workshop between November 8 and 12, 2000. Twenty-six college students participated in the workshop. The workshop's topic was on the role of elections in democracy. Mr. Rizgar Abdullah prepared the needed text and supervised the course.

BCC held a second workshop between February 17 and 21, 2001. Twenty college students representing seven student organizations participated in the workshop. The workshop program for this workshop was similar to that of the first one.

The third course was the first for high school students, and was held July 28- August 8, 2001. Twenty-six students from Sulaymania participated in the course. The course program was similar to the previous ones.
