Law Enforcement Training on Human Rights

ASK and BCC organized the first course between August 5 and September 4, 2000. Thirty-Five police officers participated in the course. ASK's staff used the UN documents on Human Rights to develop the course curriculum and appointed lecturers.

ASK conducted its second training course for law enforcement in Halabja (1 ½ hours from Sulaymania) on March 12-31, 2001. Forty-four policemen participated in the course. The course was very succesful and the same steps to establish course curriculum and appoint lecturers was used.
